Juan Carlos Dumas is a doctor in Clinical Psychologist and University Professor in the areas of Education, Developmental Psychology and Psychosociology in several Latin American Universities. Born in Argentina, he is Associate Director and co-founder of the Hispanic Center for Health and Well-being, where he provides clinical psychotherapy services and Mental Health Consultant for the US Department of Health and Human Services.
In 1993, he directed the First Hispanic Seminar in Applied Psychology in New York City and in 1995 was the key speaker at the Interdisciplinary Seminar on Prevention sponsored by San Martin National University, as well as at the conference on International Terrorism sponsored by the Graduate Center of Intelligence in Buenos Aires.
As a professional, Dr. Dumas has directed and participated in different radio programs and published media in the United States and Argentina, and in television and via satellite for virtual professional training programs. He is a columnist for two Hispanic newspapers in the US, author of a dozen publications and graduate students guides, of the Anthropology essay entitled: "Homo: Enigmas of the Human Odyssey" and of the book "Thoughts from the Heart" published in Puerto Rico and the US respectively.
